Better footpaths and improved road safety were among the most widely requested changes in the survey. The CIL Working Group noted that several of the concerns raised (eg broken stiles) were already being progressed by the Parish Council but worried that footpath and road safety improvements are subject to lengthy Highways approvals and there was a risk of spreading volunteer and financial resources too thinly.

• The CIL Working Group recommends that the Parish Council explores forming a dedicated Road Safety Working Group as well as exploring expanding its current Footpaths Working Group if there are volunteers available.
