Bradstone Refurbishment

The survey showed Bradstone is our most underused facility — primarily because there is currently nothing to do there. Villagers strongly backed investment to make it a hub for community recreation which would generate sufficient revenue to sustain itself long-term.

• The CIL Working Group recommends that the Parish Council explores how best to renovate the Bradstone building and improve the wider site to fulfil the village's needs — including the options of a café, adding a veranda, a big screen for sports match viewing, adding table tennis, padel and pickle courts, cricket nets, a pump track/skatepark and pétanque.
• The CIL Working Group hopes that grant applications could boost funding.
